When you sign up for our waitlist, we collect your first name, last name and email address — used solely to notify you about our Kickstarter campaign launch and related product news.
Email delivery is handled by MailerLite (MailerLite Limited, Ireland) under a data processing agreement. Sign-up uses double opt-in: after submitting the form you receive a confirmation email and must click a link to activate your subscription.
Our emails may contain tracking pixels — small embedded images that let us see whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. This helps us improve our communications. Legal basis for all of the above: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Our hosting provider Cloudflare (Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Munich, acting on behalf of Cloudflare, Inc., San Francisco, USA) automatically processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and timestamps for security and operational purposes. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
All web fonts are hosted locally on our own server. No requests are made to Google Fonts or any other third-party font provider.
We link to our profiles on Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and Reddit. These are plain hyperlinks — no social plugins, tracking pixels or iFrames are embedded on this site. Data is only transmitted to a platform when you actively click a link and visit that platform.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to object to processing. You can exercise these rights at any time by emailing hello@bettergems.shop.
